Cancellations and rescheduling

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. Sessions cancelled or moved with less than 24 hours' notice, and missed sessions, are charged in full. Genuine emergencies are always treated with understanding; just let me know as soon as you can.

Questions people ask before booking

• Is coaching the same as therapy? No. Coaching looks forward: where you are, where you want to be, and how to get there. It is not counselling, psychotherapy or medical care, and if I think you would be better served by one of those, I will say so and help you find it.
• How many sessions will I need? It varies. Some people come for one or two sessions around a specific decision; most find that 6 to 8 sessions over 2 to 3 months is where real change settles in. We review as we go, and you are never tied in.
• What happens in the first session? We talk about what brought you here, what you want to be different, and what has and hasn't helped before. By the end you will have a clear sense of where we are heading and a first step to take.
• Do we both need to attend couples sessions? Yes, couples work is for the two of you together. If one of you is not ready, an individual session is a good place to start, and often makes the joint conversation easier later.
• Is everything confidential? Yes. What you share stays between us, with the narrow exceptions required by law or where someone is at serious risk. See the privacy policy for the detail.
• How do I pay? Securely by card when you book (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Your session is confirmed as soon as payment goes through, and a confirmation and calendar invitation arrive by email straight away. The free 15 minute chat needs no payment.
• What if I am overseas? Sessions are on Zoom, worldwide. I work from Singapore time and will always suggest slots that suit your timezone.
